Jerry curates our itineraries and also co-hosts some of our holidays. Jerry held various senior positions in Citicorp, including the Head of Citibank where he was primarily responsible for building the bank’s Asian retail and credit card franchises. As head of Citicorp’s development division, Rao was part of the operating review group, placing him among the top 50 managers in the firm. He was also the Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Mphasis during which time he was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award twice in 2001 & 2004.
Jerry has an encyclopaedic knowledge on all things Indian and Sri Lankan – history, temple art and architecture, traditions and culture. A keen traveller, Jerry now spends most of his time exploring India and Sri Lanka, uncovering forgotten temples and traditions. He is extremely passionate about India and Sri Lanka’s rich heritage and has partnered with us to showcase the regions right.
